TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions apply to you when you Rent or Buy any items
from Envogue by Micaelan Jade or visit the Website. By clicking on the necessary tick box, replying by email/WhatsApp, or hiring any Clothing on our website, Instagram page, or directly, you are bound by the Terms and Conditions, and we are entitled to rely on the fact that you agree to Rent or Purchase Clothing from us subject to the Terms and Conditions set out herein.
Definitions In these terms and conditions, unless the context indicates otherwise, the following words and expressions bear the meanings assigned to them:
• "Administration Fees" means the amount we charge you if there are Late Fees or Replacement Fees payable, if you cancel a Rent, or if you return or exchange Clothing that does not fit.
• "Clothing" means any dresses, garments, and other accessories available for rent from us; if the context so requires, "Clothing" will also mean the specific Clothing which you have Rented from us.
• "Rent," "Rental," or "Rented" means the Rent of Clothing from us.
• "Rent Cost" means the amount payable by you for the Rent, as indicated on the Website or as otherwise agreed with us in writing.
• "Rent Period" means the period for which you Rent the Clothing as selected on the Website or as otherwise agreed with us in writing.
• "Late Fees" means the amount payable for returning the Clothing after the Rent Period.
•"Damage Fee" is a refundable charge collected to cover the cost of repairing or replacing rental items returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear , such as stains or missing embellishments.
• "Replacement Fees" means the amount equal to the retail value of the Clothing that has not been returned, has been damaged, or has been altered in any way, as determined by us in our sole and absolute discretion, acting reasonably.
• "Envogue by Micaelan Jade," "us," "our," and "we" means Envogue by Micaelan Jade Proprietary Limited.
• "User" and "you" means the individual making use of the Website and service provided by us.
• "Website" means the website and/or the Instagram page of Envogue by Micaelan Jade from time to time.
• "Rental Process" Customers must book rentals through our Website, Instagram page, WhatsApp, or directly in writing.
• Rental is confirmed only after full payment is received.
• Copy of Identity documents may be requested before rental is completed, either in the form of an ID book/card, Driver's license, or Passport.
• Customers are responsible for returning the rented Clothing by the agreed-upon return date. Late returns will incur Late Fees.
Section A: Rental Terms and Conditions
- Rental Process
- Customers must book rentals through our Website,Instagram page,WhatsApp, or directly in writing.
- Rental is confirmed only after full payment is received
- Copy of Identity documents may be requested before rental is completed, either in the form of an ID book/card, Driver's license, or Passport.
- Customers are responsible for returning the rented Clothing by the agreed- upon return date. Late returns will incur Late Fees
1.1. Rental Period and Fees

- Each dress rental is valid for three (3) calendar days only.
- A daily late return fee of R200 will apply for each additional day.
- Late return penalties will be automatically charged to the customer’s credit card.
- Dress Collection and Returns
- It is the customer’s responsibility to return the dress by the agreed return date.
- Envogue will arrange courier collection and confirm the time one day prior.
- If the courier cannot collect at the agreed time, the customer must either:
- Drop the dress off at our Cape Town showroom, or
- Arrange and pay for a return courier themselves.
- Refundable Deposit
A refundable deposit is payable upon booking and will be returned once the dress is received in good condition. If the dress is damaged or not returned, the customer will be charged the full retail value of the item. - Dress Condition, Cleaning & Inspection
The hire fee includes dry cleaning and delivery to the customer. Envogue inspects all garments before dispatch and upon return, and reserves the right to charge for damages accordingly. - Fit & Refunds
- If the dress does not fit, it must be returned on the same day of delivery to qualify for a full refund.
- The original tag must be attached to qualify for a refund.
- A R200 courier fee will be deducted from the refund for return shipping.
- Cancellations
- Cancel up to 7 days before the hire date for a full refund.
- Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice incur a 50% administration fee.
- Delivery and Shipping Policy (Rentals)
- When selecting a hire date, ensure it reflects your desired delivery date, not your event date.
- Dresses are dispatched two (2) days prior to the hire date.
- Courier delivery times:
- Cape Town: 1 business day (same-day if ordered before 11 AM).
- Major cities: 2–3 business days.
- Outlying/rural areas: may incur extra cost and longer delivery times.
- No weekend deliveries or collections.
- Overnight shipping available at an extra cost of R250.
- Fit returns must be collected:
- Same day if reported early,
- No later than 12 PM the next day for a full refund.
- All returned dresses are inspected before any refund is processed.
Section B: Purchase Terms and Conditions
- Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations (Online Purchases)
- Selected dresses may be returned for a full refund, excluding courier fees.
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery via info@envogue.co.za.
- If delivery is defective, send photographic evidence within 24 hours.
- Return items within 5 business days (customer pays courier unless defective).
- Items must be:
- Unworn,
- Free of stains, tears, odors,
- With all labels attached,
- In original or equivalent packaging.
- Refunds not processed for signs of wear.
- Fitting fees are non-refundable.
Section C: General Terms (Applicable to Both Rentals and Purchases)
- Payment Options & Security
- Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, AmEx, EFT accepted.
- EFT orders processed upon receipt of proof of payment.
- Card payments via DPO PayGate. See paygate.co.za for SSL3/security details.
- Envogue does not store payment details; they’re processed securely via PayGate.
- We also accept payments via EFT (electronic funds transfer), Yoco online payment gateway, and in-store using our POS (Point of sale)
- Customer Information & Privacy
Complies with PAIA (Act 2 of 2000). By using our service you agree to our Privacy Policy and consent to data collection/processing. - Availability and Delivery
Only available to South African customers. If a product is unavailable after payment, a full refund is processed within 30 days. - Liability and Disclaimer
Envogue is not liable for damages from late deliveries, courier delays, or unreported defects. Services are provided “as is” without warranties unless explicitly stated. - Ownership and Intellectual Property
All content is the property of Envogue by Micaelan Jade. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution is prohibited. - Modifications and Service Changes
We may change prices, discontinue services, or modify these terms at any time without notice. - Jurisdiction and Legal
